Health, Safety and Environment Policy

Commitment

Bridgehampton International Inc. will plan and conduct work to protect employees, contractors, communities, the environment, and the integrity of its assets. No task, production target, schedule, or financial objective is more important than controlling unacceptable HSE risk.

Operating principles

• Every person has authority and responsibility to stop work when an unsafe condition, uncontrolled hazard, or unacceptable environmental risk is identified.
• Identify hazards and environmental aspects before work; eliminate risk where practicable and otherwise apply engineered, administrative, and personal-protective controls.
• Design, drill, complete, operate, maintain, transport, and decommission assets under recognized engineering, well-control, process-safety, and integrity standards.
• Maintain emergency response, spill prevention, well-control, medical, security, evacuation, and business-continuity plans and test them through exercises.
• Select and manage contractors based on competence, HSE performance, resources, and alignment with Company requirements.
• Comply with applicable HSE laws, permits, environmental approvals, site rules, and host-country requirements, and maintain a country-specific legal register.
• Prevent pollution; manage emissions, flaring, venting, water, waste, chemicals, biodiversity, land disturbance, and remediation responsibly.
• Report, investigate, and learn from incidents, near misses, high-potential events, and nonconformities without retaliation for good-faith reporting.
• Train personnel for assigned work and verify competence for safety-critical roles.
• Consult workers and communities and track measurable objectives and leading and lagging indicators.

Critical incident escalation

Fatality, life-altering injury, loss of well control, major loss of containment, significant environmental release, material permit breach, or event likely to attract regulator or media attention must be reported immediately to the CEO, Board Chair, and Sustainability Committee Chair.

Assurance

Management will maintain an HSE management system proportionate to operations, conduct risk-based audits and field assurance, and report performance and corrective actions to the Board.
